About me
My name is Antonio and I'm a Full-Stack Developer and Musician, currently based in Berlin. All the projects listed here are personal apps or experiments developed in my free time. If you want to know more about my experience and what I actually do professionally, check-out my personal bio below.
I was born and grew up in Italy, in a small town northwest of Milan.
My first "computer" was a Speak&Spell by Texas Instruments, by which I learned to read and write at the age of 5, even before starting school. It was already clear at that time that technology would play a significant role in my life. Growing up I decided to study Electronic Engineering but in the meantime I learned the basics of Web Development and started making websites for fun.
A couple of years later I started doing this professionally and co-founded Artopweb.com, an e-commerce for Fine Art Reproductions. In the meantime I also cultivated my other big passion, Music, playing Guitar and Synths in various musical projects and releasing in total 2 records and several EPs.
I worked as a freelance Web Developer for almost 9 years, collaborating with several clients in the E-commerce and Fashion industries.
In 2016 I moved permanently to Berlin, where I'm now employed at Styla, building software for Content Management and Design Automation. I occasionally write articles about Software Development and make funny experiments on CodePen.
Timeline
What a year: Terminator, Ghostbusters, Ride the Lightning by Metallica and more... In the meantime, in a small city in Northern Italy, a new person is born. That's right: me!
Finished my studies in Electronics Engineering. Attended post-diploma Software Development courses.
Co-founded Artopweb.com and built the company entire backend and shop system
Released 1st full length album with This Grace. Started touring in Italy and played several festivals, opening for bands such as Linkin Park and Queens of the Stone Age.
Founded my Web-Design agency, Kultmedia.
Released 2nd record with This Grace. Many live shows, until the band split up.
What's better than creating a new band? Creating 2 new bands! In the same period I joined The French Leave and Brainerd. Lots of recording sessions, EP releases, live shows and DJ sets.
Moved to Berlin.
Joined Styla.com as Full-Stack Software Developer.
Released Flipping Cards, my first iOS & Android app.
Released React Native Quiz Input, an NPM package for creating individual character text inputs.
